Dr George Parker aims for excellence in the management of knee and hip complaints.

He has a particular interest in surgery of the knee and hip, especially knee and hip replacement and arthroscopic surgery of the knee (knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair, meniscal resection and ACL reconstruction).

Dr Parker obtained his MBBS in 1992 in Tasmania and FRACS in 2003 in Sydney where he trained in Orthopaedic surgery. He moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2004 to take up a position at Nambour General Hospital as staff surgeon and held this position until 2012. During this time, he was Director of the Orthopaedics Department for four years.

In 2008 he commenced private Orthopaedic practice at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.

Early 2012 he commenced full time private Orthopaedic practice, setting up the Sunshine Coast Knee and Hip Clinic at The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital.

Dr Parker maintains a high level of care for his patients. He works closely with GP’s and other allied health providers to ensure the patient receives the best quality of care and favorable outcome for their injuries.
